Order in Council 107/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas subsection 65 (1) of the Ontario College of Teachers Act, 1996 provides that the Lieutenant Governor in Council may appoint a Transition Supervisory Officer for the Ontario College of Teachers;

And whereas subsection 65 (6) of said Act provides that the expenses and remuneration of the Transition Supervisory Officer shall be paid by the Ontario College of Teachers;

Now therefore, pursuant to subsection 65 (1) of the Ontario College of Teachers Act, 1996,

Paul Boniferro of Toronto

be appointed as the Transition Supervisory Officer for the Ontario College of Teachers to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding one (1) year, effective the later of February 1, 2021 and the date this Order in Council is made.
