Order in Council 1128/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas there are vested in Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Ontario and under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, certain lands situate in the Township of Laurier, District of Parry Sound, lying and being:

1. Part of Lots 4 and 5, Concession 8, shown as Part 1 on a Reference Plan deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Parry Sound as Plan 42R-20623 (MTO Plan P-2238-129),
2. Part of Lot 4, Concession 8, shown as Part 3 on a Reference Plan deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Parry Sound as Plan 42R-20623 (MTO Plan P-2238-129), and;
3. Part of Lot 3, Concession 8, shown as Part 2 on a Reference Plan deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Parry Sound as Plan 42R-14859 (MTO Plan P-2238-76), save and except Part 2 on a Reference Plan deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Parry Sound as Plan 42R-15037 (MTO Plan P-2238-86).

And whereas the lands are no longer required for the purposes of the Minister of Transportation and it is deemed expedient that the jurisdiction and control be placed under the control of the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry who has agreed to accept the jurisdiction and control thereof.

Now therefore, pursuant to subsection 2(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50 as amended, and pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Executive Council Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter E.25, the jurisdiction and control of the said lands are hereby placed under the control of the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry.
