Order in Council 1155/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 3(1) and (2) of the Ontario Land Tribunal Act, 2021, effective June 1, 2021

1. A person appointed as chair of the Ontario Land Tribunal on a full-time basis shall be compensated at the rate for a chair set out in Table 1 of Schedule 2 to Order in Council O.C. 2310/2017, as may be amended from time to time.
2. A person appointed as vice-chair of the Ontario Land Tribunal on a full-time basis shall be compensated at the rate for a vice-chair set out in Table 1 of Schedule 2 to Order in Council O.C. 2310/2017, as may be amended from time to time.
3. A person appointed as member of the Ontario Land Tribunal on a full-time basis shall be compensated at the rate for a member set out in Table 1 of Schedule 2 to Order in Council O.C. 2310/2017, as may be amended from time to time.
4. A person appointed as chair, vice-chair or member of the Ontario Land Tribunal on a full-time basis shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their duties in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
5. A person appointed as chair, vice-chair or member of the Ontario Land Tribunal as full-time chair, vice-chair or member shall be eligible for benefits, including vacation, comparable to the benefit entitlements of OPS executives in the Senior Management Group and are entitled to elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan.

Now therefore this Order shall be in effect on the date it is made.
