Order in Council 1259/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council O.C. 185/2023 Bashar Alrehany of Mississauga was reappointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation for a period not exceeding three years, effective February 17, 2023;

And whereas Mr. Alrehany is now to be designated as vice-chair of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation;

And whereas Mr. Alrehany’s designation as vice-chair cannot outlast his appointment as a member;

Now therefore, pursuant to subsection 9(4) of the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation Act, 2011,

Bashar Alrehany of Mississauga

be designated as vice-chair of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding the earlier of February 16, 2026 or the date of the revocation of O.C. 185/2023, effective the date this Order in Council is made.
