Order in Council 133/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the High Speed Rail Planning Advisory Body (the “Advisory Body”) was established pursuant to Order in Council 2101/2017 and its remuneration set pursuant to Order in Council 2102/2017, both Orders dated October 18, 2017;

And Whereas it is considered desirable to amend the above Orders to reflect the name adopted by the Advisory Body subsequent to the making of the Orders;

And Whereas the Special Advisor for High Speed Rail, established, appointed and remunerated pursuant to Orders in Council 1387/2015, 1388/2015 and 1389/2015, all dated October 7, 2015, has carried out and completed his assigned duties;

Therefore, Orders in Council 2101/2017 and 2102/2017 be amended by deleting the words “High Speed Rail Planning Advisory Body” and “Advisory Body” and replacing them with “High Speed Rail Planning Advisory Board” and “Advisory Board”, respectively, effective the date this Order in Council is approved and ordered.

Further, Orders in Council 1387/2015, 1388/2015 and 1389/2015 be revoked, effective the date this Order in Council is approved and ordered.
