On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Sandeep Johal was appointed a full-time member of the Licence Appeal Tribunal by Order in Council O.C. 1475/2016 dated October 17, 2016;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 2(4) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999 and subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006,

Sandeep Johal be paid an annual remuneration of $93,050.

Further, Sandeep Johal shall be eligible for benefits, excluding pension, in accordance with the benefit entitlements of the Senior Management Group of the Ontario Public Service;

Further, Sandeep Johal may elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan. If he declines to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan, he shall not be entitled to compensation in lieu of participation in the Plan;

And further, Sandeep Johal shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Licence Appeal Tribunal in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
