Order in Council 1569/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

WHEREAS by Order in Council numbered 1472/2015, dated the 28^th day of October 2015, David Ross Nichols was appointed as the Fire Marshal of Ontario effective from October 5, 2015, for a period not exceeding one year from the effective date of his appointment;

AND WHEREAS David Ross Nichols has agreed to be reappointed as the Fire Marshal of Ontario;

THEREFORE pursuant to section 8(1) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, as amended, David Ross Nichols is hereby reappointed as the Fire Marshal of Ontario, effective from the 5^th day of October 2016, for a period not exceeding six months from the effective date of this reappointment.
