Order in Council 1646/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Bernard Fishbein has been reappointed as full-time chair of the Ontario Labour Relations Board by Order in Council 1637/2020, dated December 3, 2020.

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 110(24) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 and despite Order in Council O.C. 2310/2017, as amended by Order in Council O.C. 893/2018,

Bernard Fishbein be paid annual remuneration of $224,349 during the term of this appointment;

Further, that Bernard Fishbein be eligible for benefits, including vacation, comparable to the benefit entitlements of OPS executives in the Senior Management Group and be entitled to elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan;

And Further, that Bernard Fishbein be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out his duties for the Ontario Labour Relations Board in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
