Order in Council 1760/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas, by Order in Council 457/2016, dated March 23, 2016, Marie Theresa Fortier was appointed a justice of the peace in the Province of Ontario;

and whereas, Her Worship Fortier resigned from the office, effective October 7, 2016;

Now therefore, pursuant to subsections 2 and 7 of the Justices of the Peace Act, Order in Council 457/2016 is revoked and the appointment of Her Worship Marie Theresa Fortier is terminated as of her resignation date.
