Order in Council 1782/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Renée Lang was reappointed a full-time member of the Landlord and Tenant Board by Order in Council 1781/2016 dated November 23, 2016;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006 and subsection 169(2) of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006,

Renée Lang be paid an annual remuneration of $99,700.

Further, Renée Lang shall be eligible for benefits, excluding pension, in accordance with the benefit entitlements of the Senior Management Group of the Ontario Public Service;

Further, Renée Lang may elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan. If she declines to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan, she shall not be entitled to compensation in lieu of participation in the Plan;

And further, Renée Lang shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Landlord and Tenant Board in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
