Order in Council 1796/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 260/2008, dated March 6, 2008, Dr. George Richard Mann was appointed as Regional Coroner for the West Region of Ontario, comprised of the areas of Essex, Chatham-Kent and Lambton; Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford; Huron and Perth, and Bruce and Grey;

And whereas Dr. George Richard Mann has, in writing, indicated his intention to retire and effective January 25, 2021, will resign his appointment as Regional Coroner for the areas of Essex, Chatham-Kent and Lambton; Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford; Huron and Perth, and Bruce and Grey;

Therefore pursuant to subsections 4(1) of the Coroners Act, as amended, Order in Council numbered O.C. 260/2008, dated March 6, 2008, appointing Dr. George Richard Mann as Regional Coroner for the areas of Essex, Chatham-Kent and Lambton; Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford; Huron and Perth, and Bruce and Grey is hereby revoked effective January 25, 2021.
