Order in Council 1960/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code and subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, Jeanie Theoharis of Mississauga be appointed as part-time member and Vice Chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term effective the date this Order in Council is made and ending August 30, 2021.

Further, whereas Jeanie Theoharis was appointed a part-time member of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term ending December 31, 2019 by Order in Council O.C. 426/2019;

Therefore, pursuant to clause 77(a) of the Legislation Act, 2006, Order in Council O.C. 426/2019 be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
