Order in Council 2307/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1078/2016, dated June 22, 2016, Laura A. Gainey was reappointed as a member of the Board of Governors, The University of Western Ontario for a period ending July 31, 2020;

And whereas Laura A. Gainey has submitted her resignation from the Board and her resignation has been accepted;

Therefore pursuant to the provisions of the University of Western Ontario Act, 1982 Susan Bennett, of Toronto, be appointed as a part-time member of the Board of Governors, The University of Western Ontario, for the balance of the term of office of Laura Gainey, effective from the date of this Order in Council to July 31, 2020.

And that O.C.1078/2016 be revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
