On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Ian Maedel was appointed a full-time member of the Licence Appeal Tribunal by Order in Council 247/2017 dated February 2, 2017;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006 and subsection 2(3) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999,

Ian Maedel be paid an annual remuneration of $93,050.

Further, Ian Maedel shall be eligible for benefits, excluding pension, in accordance with the benefit entitlements of the Senior Management Group of the Ontario Public Service;

Further, Ian Maedel may elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan. If he declines to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan, he shall not be entitled to compensation in lieu of participation in the Plan;

And further, Ian Maedel shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Licence Appeal Tribunal in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
