Order in Council 296/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Geraldine Markvoort is currently serving as a member of the Ontario Public Service Pension Board;

Pursuant to subsection 29(3) of the Public Service Pension Plan, set out in Schedule 1, as amended, under the Public Service Pension Act,

Geraldine Markvoort, of the City of Toronto

be appointed as a member of the Ontario Public Service Pension Board to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years, effective the date this Order in Council is made;

And pursuant to subsection 29(7) of the Public Service Pension Plan, set out in Schedule 1, as amended, under the Public Service Pension Act,

Geraldine Markvoort, of the City of Toronto

be designated, effective the date this Order in Council is made, as Chair of the Ontario Public Service Pension Board to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term concurrent with her appointment as member of the Ontario Public Service Pension Board.

And further that Order in Council O.C. 49/2015, dated January 5, 2015 be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
