Order in Council 4/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas under O.C. 228/2021 dated March 4, 2021, Janet Harnden was appointed as a member of the Ontario Honours Advisory Council for a period not exceeding three years effective March 4, 2021;

And whereas Ms. Harnden is now to be designated as vice-chair of the Ontario Honours Advisory Council;

And whereas Ms. Harnden’s designation as vice-chair cannot outlast her appointment as a member;

Now therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Janet Harnden of Belleville

be designated as vice-chair of the Ontario Honours Advisory Council, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding the earlier of March 3, 2024 or the date of the revocation of O.C.228/2021, effective the date this Order in Council is made.
