Order in Council 428/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. The portion of highway in the Township of McGarry, District of Timiskaming, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, shown as Part 1 on Reference Plan 54R-6238 (MTO Plan P-2814-60) deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Timiskaming be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P. 50 as amended; and
2. The designation as the King’s Highway by Order in Council O.C. 1138/61 shown on Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2814-21 and registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Timiskaming as Instrument 129890, be amended so as to cease to apply to the portion of highway shown as Part 1 on Reference Plan 54R-6238 (MTO Plan P-2814-60) deposited as described above;
