Order in Council 437/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1427/2015, dated October 21, 2015, Dr. Gary Vernon Hill was appointed as a Coroner for Ontario, subject to the condition that he remain ordinarily resident in Area Number 12;

And whereas Dr. Gary Vernon Hill currently ordinarily resides in Area Number 8, nullifying his appointment as a Coroner for Ontario;

And whereas it is desirable that Dr. Gary Vernon Hill continue to act as a Coroner for Ontario;

Therefore pursuant to section 3 of the Coroners Act, as amended, Dr. Gary Vernon Hill be appointed as a Coroner for Ontario effective from the date of this Order in Council, subject to the condition that he remain ordinarily resident in Area Number 8, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

And that Order in Council numbered O.C. 1427/2015, dated October 21, 2015, be revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
