Order in Council 50/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council 990/2018 the Government of Ontario established the Premier’s Council on Improving Healthcare and Ending Hallway Medicine (“the Council”);

And whereas Lisa Habermehl was appointed as a member of the Council by Order in Council 1458/2018;

And whereas Lisa Habermehl is not employed in the public sector or broader public sector;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to provide for the remuneration of advisors who serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities, the following remuneration for Lisa Habermehl is determined:

Remuneration and Expenses

1. Compensated at the rate of $723 per diem up to a maximum of $32,300 for the remainder of the appointment. Per diems will be administered in accordance with the Agencies and Appointments Directive.
2. Reimbursed for expenses incurred while engaged in the work on the Council in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expense Directive.
