Order in Council 508/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Stephen Orsini

be appointed Secretary of the Cabinet to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, for a period not exceeding three years, effective July 9, 2017;

And pursuant to subsection 9(2) of the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006,

Stephen Orsini

be appointed as a member of the Public Service Commission, for a term concurrent with his appointment as Secretary of the Cabinet, effective July 9, 2017.
