Order in Council 564/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to Order in Council O.C 1953/2019, Gail Beggs is currently serving as a member of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (the “Corporation”) at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

Pursuant to subsections 2(2) and 5(2) of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999,

Gail Beggs, of Toronto

be designated as the Vice-Chair of the Corporation to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, for a period commencing April 29, 2021 and ending no later than October 31, 2021, effective the date of this Order;

And further, the Vice-Chair of the Corporation may exercise the powers and duties of the Chair of the Corporation where the Chair is absent or unable to act for any reason, or where the office of the Chair may be vacant;

And further, that Orders in Council O.C. 273/2021 dated March 11, 2021, and O.C. 1726/2019 dated November 28, 2019, and O.C. 659/2019 dated May 2, 2019, and O.C. 232/2020 dated February 14, 2020 and O.C. 1716/2020 dated December 10, 2020, be revoked effective the date of this Order.
