Order in Council 691/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to subsection 62(1) of the Building Transit Faster Act, 2020, land may be designated as transit corridor land if the Lieutenant Governor in Council is of the opinion that the designation is or may be required for a priority transit project, as defined in section 2 of the Act;

And whereas all or part of the properties listed in the document titled “SSE Designation Plan TCL PIN Table” attached hereto are or may be required as transit corridor land for the Scarborough Subway Extension, also known as the Line 2 East Extension, which is a priority transit project;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 62(1) of the Building Transit Faster Act, 2020, all or part of the properties listed in the above-mentioned document, as further described in the attached designation plan number 17R-00334-G2-SSE-SK02 prepared by GeoVera (ON) Ltd. and dated November 17, 2020, are designated as transit corridor land for all purposes in respect of the Scarborough Subway Extension, effective the date of this Order;

And further, Order in Council 393/2021 is revoked, effective the date of this Order.
