Order in Council 840/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 2140/98 dated September 30, 1998,
Dr. Laurel Jane Dempsey was appointed as a Coroner for Ontario;

and whereas Dr. Laurel Jane Dempsey has, in writing, resigned her appointment as a Coroner for Ontario, effective December 31, 2017;

therefore pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Coroners Act, as amended, Order in Council numbered O.C. 2140/98, dated September 30, 1998, appointing Dr. Laurel Jane Dempsey as a Coroner for Ontario, is hereby revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
