Order in Council 853/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Kevin French

be appointed Deputy Minister of the Treasury Board Secretariat, effective June 10, 2019, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not extending beyond December 1, 2021;

further that pursuant to subsection 2(6) of the Management Board of Cabinet Act,

be appointed Secretary of the Management Board of Cabinet, effective June 10, 2019, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term concurrent with his appointment as Deputy Minister of the Treasury Board Secretariat;

further that pursuant to subsection 1.0.4(2) of the Financial Administration Act,

be appointed Secretary of the Treasury Board, effective June 10, 2019, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term concurrent with his appointment as Deputy Minister of the Treasury Board Secretariat;

and further that Order in Council O.C. 1316/2018, dated December 12, 2018, be revoked effective June 10, 2019.
