Order in Council 886/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Honourable Justice Simon Christopher Armstrong was reappointed as regional senior judge of the Ontario Court of Justice for the Central East Region by Order in Council O.C. 915/2016, for a term of three years ending September 1, 2019;

And whereas Regional Senior Justice Armstrong has advised that he will be ending his term effective May 30, 2018;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 77(a) of the Legislation Act, 2006 and subsection 42(6) of the Courts of Justice Act, Order in Council , O.C. 915/2016 be revoked, effective May 30, 2018.
