Order in Council 895/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario has, by an Address presented to the Lieutenant Governor in Council, requested the appointment of Peter Weltman as Financial Accountability Officer;

And Whereas Peter Weltman was selected by a panel composed in accordance with subsection 2 (2) of the Financial Accountability Officer Act, 2013;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 2 (2) of the Financial Accountability Officer Act, 2013,

Peter Weltman

be appointed Financial Accountability Officer, an officer of the Assembly, for a fixed term of five years, effective May 7, 2018, subject to the terms and conditions of the Act.
