Order in Council 948/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 4(1) of the Coroners Act, as amended, Dr. Harry Mikael Voogjarv, a legally qualified medical practitioner, be appointed, the earlier of July 31, 2023 or the date this Order in Council is made, as Regional Coroner for that part of the North Region of Ontario comprised of the following geographical areas prescribed under the Territorial Division Act, 2002: Nipissing, Parry Sound, Algoma, Manitoulin, Sudbury, Timiskaming, Cochrane and Muskoka, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.

And that Order in Council numbered O.C. 1822/2021 dated the 16^th day of December, 2021, be revoked on the effective date of this Order in Council.
