Order in Council 975/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 8(1) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, as amended, Tim Beckett of Kitchener be appointed as the Fire Marshal of Ontario, effective from the 14th day of April 2022, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not to extend beyond October 19, 2022;

And that Order in Council numbered O.C. 1706/2019, dated November 21, 2019, reappointing Jonathan Fredrick Pegg as the Fire Marshal of Ontario, be revoked effective the 14th day of April 2022.

And that Order in Council numbered O.C. 1670/2021, dated December 2, 2021, reappointing Tim Beckett as the Deputy Fire Marshal of Ontario, be revoked effective the 14th day of April 2022.
