An ‘individual’ is a person applying for a security guard or private investigator licence.
A ‘registered employer’ is an employer who hires in-house security guards and or private investigators.
An ‘agency – corporation’ is a business that sells the services of security guards, private investigators, or both.
An ‘agency – partnership’ is a business between two parties that sells the service of security guards, private investigators, or both.
An ‘agency – sole proprietorship’ is a business owned and run by one individual that sells security guard and/or private investigator services.
