These particulars are posted following the withdrawal of appeal of 11169343 Canada Inc. o/a Shaun Truck Driving School to require a hearing of the Licence Appeal Tribunal under s. 19(3) of the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 (“the Act”). On November 2, 2021, the Superintendent issued a Notice of Proposal to Refuse to Renew Registration to 11169343 Canada Inc. o/a Shaun Truck Driving School. 11169343 Canada Inc. o/a Shaun Truck Driving School filed a notice to the Licence Appeal Tribunal on November 16, 2021. 11169343 Canada Inc. o/a Shaun Truck Driving School withdrew the appeal.
The proposal to refuse to renew 11169343 Canada Inc. o/a Shaun Truck Driving School registration was therefore carried out on August 31, 2022 pursuant to s. 19(4) of the Act.

Reasons for decision
The Superintendent has refused to renew the registration of 11169343 Canada Inc. o/a Shaun Truck Driving School registration for the following reasons:

Pursuant to s.14(1) of the Act, the Superintendent is no longer satisfied:
- that it is in the public interest as required pursuant to subsection 14a of the Act read together with O. Reg. 415/06 s. 4.3
- that the applicant will operate the private career college in compliance with the Act and the regulations
- that the past conduct of the applicant provides grounds for the belief that the private career college will be operated in accordance with the law and with integrity and honesty
- that the applicant is not carrying on activities that are, or will be, if the applicant is registered, in contravention of the Act or regulations

On August 31, 2022, the Superintendent carried out the proposal to refuse to renew the registration of 11169343 Canada Inc. o/a Shaun Truck Driving School.
