Completed April 1, 2016: Regulation 753 (Grades, Standards, Designations, Classes, Packing and Marking) under the Milk Act

Regulation 753 (Grades, Standards, Designations, Classes, Packing and Marking) under the Milk Act establishes a set of milk classes for cow's milk. The classes are based on the types of products (such as fluid milk, cheese and yogurt) produced from milk. Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO) has asked the Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission (commission) to establish a new class for milk used to process certain milk ingredients and milk products.

The Ontario Tender Fruit Growers has asked the commission to add apricots to the Ontario Tender Fruit plan. The commission supports the addition of apricots to the plan.
