Applications to Provincial Parliament

Idlewyld Manor

Notice Is Hereby Given that on behalf of Idlewyld Manor in Hamilton, Ontario, application will be made to the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario for an Act to provide:

  1. That An Act to Incorporate the Trustees of the Hamilton Orphan Asylum, Chapter 67 of the Statutes of the Province of Canada, 1852, and The Aged Women’s Home of Hamilton Act, 1948 are repealed; and
  2. That An Act Respecting Idlewyld Manor be enacted. The proposed special legislation will modernize Idlewyld Manor’s governance structure and update its objects so that Idlewyld Manor may provide services to meet the changing health care needs of its community.

The application will be considered by the Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills.
