Periodically, temporary applications are filed with the Board. Details of these applications can be made available at anytime to any interested parties by calling (416) 326-6732.

The following are applications for extra-provincial and public vehicle operating licenses filed under the Motor Vehicle Transport Act, 1987, and the Public Vehicles Act. All information pertaining to the applicant i.e. business plan, supporting evidence, etc. is on file at the Board and is available upon request.

Any interested person who has an economic interest in the outcome of these applications may serve and file an objection within 29 days of this publication. The objector shall:

  1. complete a Notice of Objection Form,
  2. serve the applicant with the objection,
  3. file a copy of the objection and provide proof of service of the objection on the applicant with the Board,
  4. pay the appropriate fee.

Serving and filing an objection may be effected by hand delivery, mail, courier or facsimile. Serving means the date received by a party and filing means the date received by the Board.

  1. between Toronto and the international boundary at Fort Erie, via Queen Elizabeth Way or via the Queen Elizabeth Way, King’s Highways Nos. 8 and 20
  2. between Toronto and the international boundary at Queenston, via Queen Elizabeth Way and King’s Highway No. 405.

Provided that this authority be operated only while the signed Agreement between the licensee and Gray Coach Lines Limited and Eastern Greyhound Lines, (Division of Greyhound Lines Inc.) is in full force and effect.

Provided Further this authority be operated only in conjunction with the complementary authority of The Interstate Commission of the United States of America dated August 17, 1962, filed with this Board.

Add:

  1. For the transportation of passengers, their baggage and express freight, between Toronto and the international boundary at Fort Erie and Queenston for the purpose of conducting a joint through-coach service between Toronto and Buffalo and other points in the United States of America as authorized thereby, and to use the coaches of Greyhound Canada Transportation Corp. and Trentway-Wagar, Inc. in providing the said service, via the following routes:
    1. between Toronto and the international boundary at Fort Erie, via Queen Elizabeth Way or via the Queen Elizabeth Way and Highways 8 and 20;
    2. between Toronto and the international boundary at Queenston via Queen Elizabeth Way and Highway 405.
  2. For the transportation of passengers and express freight between the international boundary at Detroit, Michigan via the Macdonald–Cartier Freeway (Highway 401) to Toronto for the purpose of conducting joint through-coach service between Chicago, Illinois and Toronto in conjunction with Greyhound Canada Transportation Corp.

Applies for an amendment to public vehicle operating licence Pv-2127 as follows: 13652-H
