Take Notice that tenders are invited for the purchase of the land(s) described below and will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at Purchasing Services, Department of Corporate Services, 1st Floor, B Wing, City Hall, 50 Centre Street South, Oshawa, Ontario L1H 3Z7.

A public tender opening will be on the same day at 2:15 p.m. (Local time) at Oshawa City Hall, Boardroom 2B, immediately following the closing of tenders.

Tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form and must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a money order or of a bank draft or cheque certified by a bank trust company or Province of Ontario Savings Office payable to the City of Oshawa and representing at least 20 per cent of the tender amount.

The City of Oshawa makes no representation regarding the title to or any other matters relating to the land to be sold. Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential purchasers.

This sale is governed by the Municipal Tax Sales Act and the Municipal Tax Sales Rules made under that Act. The successful purchaser will be required to pay the amount tendered plus accumulated realty taxes, the relevant land transfer tax and Goods & Services Taxes where applicable.

Take Notice that tenders are invited for the purchase of the land(s) described below and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on April 5th, 2002, at City Hall, Revenue and Tax Department, 26 Francis Street, Lindsay, Ontario, K9V 5R8.

The tenders will then be opened in public on the same day at City Hall, Revenue and Tax Department at 3:30 p.m.
