- September 1, 2008 as the day on which sections 2, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the Access to Adoption Records Act (Vital Statistics Statute Law Amendment), 2008, c. 5, come into force; and
- June 1, 2009 as the day on which section 4 of the Act comes into force.
