Applications to Provincial Parliament

Notice Is Hereby Given that on behalf of Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Jewish Community Campus, located in the City of Vaughan, an application has been made to the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario for an Act to authorize the City of Vaughan and the Region of York, to exempt the campus from taxes for municipal and school purposes, other than local improvement rates, beginning January 1, 2008, as long as the property is both used and occupied solely for the purposes of a community campus and Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Jewish Community Campus is a registered charity under the Income Tax Act (Canada).

The application will be considered by the Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills. Any person who has interest in the application and who wishes to make submissions, for or against the application, to the Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills should notify, in writing, the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly, Legislative Building, Queen’s Park, Toronto, Ontario, M7A 1A2.
