Ministry Of Consumer And Business Services Statute Law Amendment Act, 2004

Order in Council 1411/2008 directed the issuance of a proclamation in respect of the Ministry of Consumer and Business Services Statute Law Amendment Act, 2004. The proclamation, issued on August 12, 2008, names April 1, 2009 as the day on which certain provisions of the Act come into force. An amendment changing that date is desired.

Therefore, we, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of Ontario, amend the proclamation issued on August 12, 2008 in respect of the Ministry of Consumer and Business Services Statute Law Amendment Act, 2004, c. 19, by striking out “April 1, 2009” and substituting “January 1, 2010”.

Consumer Protection Statute Law Amendment Act, 2002

Order in Council 1410/2008 directed the issuance of a proclamation in respect of the Consumer Protection Statute Law Amendment Act, 2002. The proclamation, issued on August 12, 2008, names April 1, 2009 as the day on which certain provisions of the Act come into force. An amendment changing that date is desired.

Therefore, we, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of Ontario, amend the proclamation issued on August 12, 2008 in respect of the Consumer Protection Statute Law Amendment Act, 2002, c. 30, by striking out “April 1, 2009” and substituting “January 1, 2010”.
