Energy Consumer Protection Act, 2010
We, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of Ontario, name January 1, 2011 as the day on which the following provisions of the Energy Consumer Protection Act, 2010, c. 8, come into force:
- Sections 1 to 35.
- Section 36, which amends the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
- Subsections 37 (1) and (6) to (10), which amend the Electricity Act, 1998.
- Subsections 38 (1) to (3), (5) to (11), (19), (21) to (41) and (43), which amend the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998.
- Section 39, which amends the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006.

Fire Protection And Prevention Act, 1997
We, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of Ontario, name January 1, 2011 as the day on which section 93 of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, c. 4, which repeals the Lightning Rods Act, comes into force.
