Notice is hereby given that Girl Guides of Canada, a corporation duly incorporated by chapter 77 of the Statutes of Canada, 1917, as amended by chapter 89 of the Statutes of Canada, 1947, and by chapter 80 of the Statutes of Canada, 1960-61, will present to the Parliament of Canada, at the present or at either of the two following sessions, a petition for a private Act to replace its Act of incorporation with a new Act that continues the corporation and makes changes relating to its administration in order to permit it to effectively conduct its affairs as a present-day charity in Canada.

Pursuant To section 231(1) of the Corporations Act, R.S.O 1990, c. C.38, (hereafter the “Act”), notice is hereby given that a resolution requiring the voluntary winding up of the Owen Sound Satellites Gymnastic Club Inc., incorporated by Letters Patent on the 14th day of February, 1986, has been passed pursuant to section 230(1) of the Act on the 16th day of May, 2018.

Arnstein Community Credit Union Limited

in the matter of the winding-up Arnstein Community Credit Union Limited pursuant to Sections 298 and 299 of the Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 1994.

We, Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario hereby give notice that:

  1. On March 23, 2012, Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO) made an Order under Section 294 of the Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 1994 ordering the Arnstein Community Credit Union Limited (“Credit Union”) subject to Administration by DICO. On April 30, 2013, DICO as Administrator of the Credit Union, appointed DICO as Liquidator of the estate and effects of the Credit Union, for the purpose of winding up its affairs and distributing its property.
  2. The Credit Union has, within the prescribed 20- day period, published notice of the resolution in The Ontario Gazette.
  3. The winding-up of the Credit Union has been completed and an account of the winding-up of its affairs and disposition of its property together with an explanation was laid before the members and shareholders in accordance with the by-laws of the credit union. A Final Liquidator’s meeting was held on May 15, 2018 at which a quorum was present.
  4. The winding-up of the affairs has been conducted in accordance with the requirements of Sections 298, sub-section (20) and (21) of the Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 1994, and the conditions contained in the articles and by-laws of the credit union.

Subject to Section 299, Subsection (2), Arnstein Community Credit Union Limited is dissolved three months after the date of the Final Liquidator’s meeting that was held on May 15, 2018.
