Minister

  1. The Minister shall exercise the powers and perform the duties, functions and responsibilities except in respect of rural affairs that had been previously assigned and transferred to the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs under Order in Council O.C. 1185/2022 dated August 29, 2022, and such powers, duties, functions and responsibilities are assigned and transferred to the Minister accordingly.

Minister

  1. The Minister shall exercise the powers and perform the duties, functions and responsibilities that had previously been assigned and transferred to the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery under Order in Council O.C. 1206/2022 dated August 29, 2022, and such powers, duties, functions and responsibilities are assigned and transferred to the Minister accordingly.
  2. The Minister shall exercise the powers and perform the duties, functions and responsibilities that had previously been assigned and transferred to the President of the Treasury Board under Order in Council O.C. 1211/2022 dated August 29, 2022 in respect of procurement (relating to the Supply Chain Transformation Office and pandemic preparedness) and Supply Ontario, and such powers, duties, functions and responsibilities are assigned and transferred to the Minister accordingly.
  3. The Minister shall share (with the President of the Treasury Board) the powers, duties, functions and responsibilities in respect of the Ministry of Government Services Act insofar as they may be necessary or advisable for the purposes of presiding over the Ministry and otherwise exercising the powers and performing the duties, functions and responsibilities related to the Minister’s portfolio. Shared powers, duties, functions and responsibilities may be exercised or performed by each minister individually or by both ministers jointly.
