Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) low fat mayonnaise 
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Ontario Buttermilk or sour milk*
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) finely chopped fresh Ontario Chives
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) each chopped fresh Ontario Flat Leaf Parsley Leaves and Dill
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) minced Ontario Onion
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) each salt and pepper
  • 1 clove Ontario Garlic, minced

Instructions

In medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, buttermilk, chives, parsley, dill, onion, mustard, salt, pepper and garlic, until blended. Cover and refrigerate for up to 5 days.

*Sour Milk: In measuring cup, combine 1/2 cup (125 mL) milk and 1-1/2 tsp (7 mL) fresh lemon juice or vinegar; let stand 15 minutes.
