Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb (250 g) of plain pasta salad
  • 1/3 cup (175 mL) chopped fennel
  • 1 Ontario Pear, unpeeled and coarsely chopped
  • Ontario Romaine Lettuce

Optional

  • Toasted pecans

Instructions

Most deli counters offer a plain pasta salad (or if you have time, make your own). Dress up 1/2 lb (250 g) of pasta salad by adding 1/3 cup (175 mL) chopped fennel (save some of the green fern-like leaves for garnish), and pear. Serve on lettuce. Sprinkle with toasted pecans, if desired.
