- 1/2 lb (250 g) of plain pasta salad
- 1/3 cup (175 mL) chopped fennel
- 1 Ontario Pear, unpeeled and coarsely chopped
- Ontario Romaine Lettuce

Instructions
Most deli counters offer a plain pasta salad (or if you have time, make your own). Dress up 1/2 lb (250 g) of pasta salad by adding 1/3 cup (175 mL) chopped fennel (save some of the green fern-like leaves for garnish), and pear. Serve on lettuce. Sprinkle with toasted pecans, if desired.
