Tofu can be found in the refrigerated produce section of your supermarket. Serve this stir-fry on a bed of basmati rice or vermicelli noodles.

Ingredients
- 1 pkg (12.3 oz /349 g) Ontario Organic Extra-Firm Tofu
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) soy sauce
- 2 cloves Ontario Organic Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp (25 mL) vegetable oil
- 1 Ontario Organic Onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp (25 mL) minced fresh ginger root
- 3 cups (750 mL) sliced Ontario Organic Cabbage
- 2 cups (500 mL) sliced Ontario Mushrooms
- 1 cup (250 mL) sliced Ontario Organic Carrots
- Half sliced sweet red pepper
- 1 tsp (5 mL) sesame oil
Instructions
Cut tofu into 3- x 1/4-inch (8 cm x 5 mm) strips; place in shallow dish. Combine soy sauce and garlic and pour over tofu. Set aside.
In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook onion and ginger until onion is softened, about 2 minutes. Stir in cabbage, mushrooms, carrots and red pepper; cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until softened. Add tofu mixture, stir-fry for 2 minutes. Stir in sesame oil.
