DESIGNATIONS — ST. THOMAS SANITARY COLLECTION SERVICE LIMITED AND ADVANCE CONTAINER OF CANADA LIMITED, A DIVISION OF GREEN LANE ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP LTD.

This Regulation is made in English only.

1. In this Regulation,

“St. Thomas Sanitary Collection Service Limited and Advance Container of Canada Limited, a division of Green Lane Environmental Group Ltd.” includes any person related to St. Thomas Sanitary Collection Service Limited and Advance Container of Canada Limited, a division of Green Lane Environmental Group Ltd. by ownership and any person, other than a municipality, who is a party to a contract with St. Thomas Sanitary Collection Service Limited and Advance Container of Canada Limited, a division of Green Lane Environmental Group Ltd. respecting any undertaking described in subsection 2 (1) or (2).  O. Reg. 220/97, s. 1.

2. (1) Any enterprise or activity by St. Thomas Sanitary Collection Service Limited and Advance Container of Canada Limited, a division of Green Lane Environmental Group Ltd. of disposing of waste at the Green Lane Landfill, located on Part of Lots 21, 22 and 23, Concession III, Township of Southwold in the County of Elgin, pursuant to a provisional certificate of approval for a waste disposal site issued after the day this Regulation comes into force under Part V of the Environmental Protection Act, is defined as a major commercial or business enterprise or activity and is designated as an undertaking to which the Environmental Assessment Act applies.  O. Reg. 220/97, s. 2 (1).

(2) Any enterprise or activity by St. Thomas Sanitary Collection Service Limited and Advance Container of Canada Limited, a division of Green Lane Environmental Group Ltd. involving a change in the operations of the Material Recovery and Centralized Composting Facility at 4645 Wellington Road in the City of London that is associated with an application for a provisional certificate of approval referred to in subsection (1), is defined as a major commercial or business enterprise or activity and is designated as an undertaking to which the Act applies.  O. Reg. 220/97, s. 2 (2).
