Amending O. Reg. 392/19

(SPECIAL PAYMENTS FOR PHYSICIAN SERVICES)

1. Section 2 of Ontario Regulation 392/19 is revoked and the following substituted:

2. (1) A special payment is payable by the Plan to every physician in Ontario who,

(a) rendered one or more insured services on or after April 1, 2018 and before April 1, 2019; or

(b) received a payment pursuant to an arrangement under clause 2 (2) (a) of the Act on or after April 1, 2018 and before April 1, 2019.

(2) The amount of the special payment shall be calculated in accordance with the document of the Ministry entitled “Method for the Implementation of 2018/19 Compensation Increases in the 2019 Ministry of Health (Ministry) and Ontario Medical Association (OMA) Arbitration Award”.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on April 1, 2020 and if it is filed after that date is deemed to have come into force on that date.
