Definition of JourneyPerson

Definition of “journeyperson”

1. For the purposes of the Act and the regulations,

“journeyperson” means an individual who holds a certificate of qualification or an individual who practices as a journeyperson in a trade that is not prescribed as compulsory and who does not hold a certificate of qualification in that trade.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 66 of the Act comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
