Amending O. Reg. 698/20

(ZONING ORDER — CITY OF RICHMOND HILL, REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF YORK)

1. Ontario Regulation 698/20 is amended by adding the following sections:

Non-application of s. 41 of the Act, site plan control area

2.1 Section 41 of the Act does not apply to the lands located in the area shown as Multiple Residential 4 Exception zone in the map referred to in subsection 2 (1) of this Order.

Matters that may be dealt with in agreement

2.2. Each person who owns all or any part of the lands described in section 2.1 shall enter into one or more agreements with the City of Richmond Hill dealing with the matters listed in subsection 47 (4.4) of the Act.

2. Section 4 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(5) For the uses permitted under clauses 3 (1) (d) to (h), there shall be a minimum of 1.15 parking spaces per dwelling unit, of which 0.15 spaces per dwelling unit shall be designated as visitor parking spaces.

3. Section 5 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsections:

(1.1) For the uses permitted under clause 3 (2) (a), there shall be a minimum of 0.25 parking spaces per bed, of which 25 per cent shall be designated as visitor parking spaces.

(1.2) For the uses permitted under clause 3 (2) (b), there shall be a minimum of 1.25 parking spaces per dwelling unit, of which 25 per cent shall be designated as visitor parking spaces.

(1.3) For the uses permitted under clause 3 (2) (c), there shall be a minimum of 0.5 parking spaces per dwelling unit, of which 25 per cent shall be designated as visitor parking spaces.

(1.4) For the uses permitted under clause 3 (2) (d), there shall be a minimum of the following parking spaces, of which 0.15 spaces per dwelling unit shall be designated as visitor parking spaces:

1.  0.9 parking spaces per bachelor dwelling unit.

2.  1.0 parking spaces per one bedroom dwelling unit.

3.  1.2 parking spaces per two bedroom dwelling unit.

4.  1.5 parking spaces per dwelling unit with three or more bedrooms.

(1.5) For the uses permitted under clauses 3 (2) (e) to (j), there shall be a minimum of 1.15 parking spaces per dwelling unit, of which 17.25 per cent shall be designated as visitor parking spaces.

Commencement

4. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
