Specified Locate Requests

Definition

1. In this Regulation,

“large excavation or dig site” means an excavation or dig site that is comprised of,

(a)  at least two properties or parts of properties, each having its own municipal address, or

(b)  one or more properties or parts of properties, at least one of which has no municipal address.

Specified requests

2. The following types of locate requests are specified requests:

1.  A locate request that is in regard to a large excavation or dig site.

Time periods for specified request

3. For the purposes of clause 6 (2) (a) of the Act, a time period set out in Column 2 of the Table to this section is prescribed in respect of the specified request set out opposite the time period in Column 1 of the Table.

Revocation

4. Ontario Regulation 1/24 is revoked.

Commencement

5. (1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.

(2) Sections 1 to 3 come into force on May 1, 2024.
