Amending O. Reg. 406/00

(RULES OF VINTNERS QUALITY ALLIANCE ONTARIO RELATING TO TERMS FOR VQA WINE)

1. Subsection 3 (2) of Ontario Regulation 406/00 is revoked and the following substituted:

(2) No person shall use the following terms, descriptions and designations on a label or container of wine unless the wine is approved and the conditions set out in clauses (1) (a) to (h) are satisfied:

3. (1) Sub-table 2 to Table 2 of the Regulation is amended by adding “3.2.1 West Niagara” to the cell in Column 1 that contains items 3.1 and 3.2.

(2) Sub-table 5 to Table 2 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “VQA — Ontario VQA” in Column 3 of item 14 and substituting “VQA — Geographical indication — VQA”.

(3) Sub-table 5 to Table 2 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “VQA — Ontario — VQA” in Column 3 of item 15 and substituting “VQA — Geographical indication — VQA”.

4. Table 1 of Appendix A to the Regulation is amended by adding the following rows:
