Amending O. Reg. 114/99

(FAMILY LAW RULES)

1. Rule 1 of Ontario Regulation 114/99 is amended by adding the following subrule:

Case management by associate judge

(3.1) Despite subrule (2), rule 42 (case management by associate judge) applies only to cases in the Superior Court of Justice, including in the Family Court of the Superior Court of Justice.

2. (1) The heading to rule 42 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

RULE 42: CASE MANAGEMENT BY ASSOCIATE JUDGE

(2) Subrule 42 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting the following:

Case management by associate judge

Application

(1) This rule applies in cases in the Superior Court of Justice, including in the Family Court of the Superior Court of Justice, that relate to matters under the following Acts:

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
